Two and a half awesome weeks later, my remix of Deadmau5′ “Brazil” – from his “Random Album Title” album – has hit the 1,000 downloads milestone on InternetDJ.com.

Deadmau5 - Brazil (Sonaris Club Rmx) - 1000 Downloads! This is only the second remix I’ve done which has hit the 1,000 downloads milestone, and… it’s a great feeling. Knowing that people are excited about something I’ve created, and feel compelled to add it to their music collection is what motivates me.

I’ve gotten a ton of great feedback on the project. A lot of people have shared it with their friends and anyone else who’ll listen. So, I want to thank you all for your support and for helping spread the word about my music projects. I greatly appreciate it!

NEW RELEASE! Sonaris dubstep remix of SAM’s “Miss You Miss You”

The much awaited and anticipated full-length electro/pop album (including a Sonaris dubstep remix of “Miss You Miss You” [One of my favorite remix projects!]) from Canadian duo SAM (James Sadoway and Jerome Mandrake) is out on iTunes and Amazon!

The album features Jerome Mandrake’s lyrical writing and vocal performances along with James Sadoway’s musical compositions and lyrical co-writing. Mandrake who has opened for Deborah Cox and released his own album “Affirmation” previously, teamed up with Sadoway who has remixed Sarah McLaughlin’s song “First Noel”, and had written and produced a song featured on Bravo! a Canadian cable channel with its own music video.

Together they present 7 personal songs showcasing Sadoway’s incredible versatile music styles and Mandrake’s stunning voice. SAM has already done 4 shows for the Vancouver Olympics and other shows for large city events. Along with a couple guest vocalists and 5 remixes, SAM is an unspoiled electronic pop group.

Delay: Arreliari Album Release Postponed

Just got some unfortunate news. The launch date for my new album, “Arreliari” has been postponed by our distributor. I will post an update when a new concrete date for the release is set. Sorry to those who are looking forward to it, and thank you for your patience and support!

It’s Official! New cover design for my upcoming album, “Arreliari”

After almost a year of preparation, editing, fixing and going back and forth, my new (and first) full length electronic [dance] music album is due out (via Addictive Vibe Records & Music Just Music) in the very near future. A final release date will be announced within a week or two, so stay tuned. The album will feature a couple of former crowd favorites, mastered and slightly re-edited, and some never-before-heard original tracks!

At the last moment, we collectively decided to change the album cover (both designs by David Baker, and I think it turned out quite well.

The official new design:

Milestone: 1,000 Downloads – Daft Punk – Around The World (Sonaris Extended Prog House Rmx)

As of this morning, my progressive house remix of Daft Punk’s “Around The World” for their “Homework” album has reached a major milestone of 1,000 downloads on InternetDJ – in just two short months! To the best of my knowledge, this is my most downloaded remix to date. I have gotten a tremendous amount of great feedback from DJs, Daft Punk fans and even people who have said they didn’t like electronica until they heard this remix.

There is always a tremendous amount of pressure when working on, and releasing, a remix of a track like “Around The World” which – on its own – has millions of loyal fans. You never know how it’s going to be received by people. It is, quite possibly, the greatest feeling in the world to hear from people – that listening to it put a smile on their face or made them want to get up and dance. Nothing beats that.

So, if you haven’t heard it yet, or haven’t gotten a copy, you can listen to it – and download it for free – here on InternetDJ.

If you’re in a party mood, check out this sick mash-up from Ross Click (aka Modo8) on Soundcloud, also up for free download!

Thank you for all of your support and appreciation, it’s really what motivates me and keeps me wanting to continue to work on these bootleg / underground types of projects.

Hard At Work

A few updates:

I am still in a holding pattern with the Arreliari LP, currently going through the mastering process at a fancy NY studio, to be released – hopefully – at the end of the summer.

Finished a progressive house remix for Max Deep, an artist on dJessa‘s label – Electric Love Records – which will also hopefully be released toward the end of summer.

I have a new progressive house track finished, called “Closer To Home” which will likely be part of a small 3-4 track progressive EP which I hope to release end-of-summer / early fall. I may do a teaser 128kb stream of this one, or I might not, not sure yet.

As usual, I have a couple more interesting projects in the works, but more details on that later, as more becomes known! Stay tuned, lots of good new music to be out soon!
