My full-length album – Arreliari – is out on iTunes, JunoDownload & DJDownload!

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally done and ready for your enjoyment! I started work on this album midway through 2009 – and – a little over a year later, I am proud to present you with my first ever full-length electronic [dance] music album – Arreliari.

Sonaris - Arreliari Album Cover

Inspired by various events in the past year, this album is an eclectic compilation of progressive house vibes, electro house basslines, trancey melodies and general feel-good awesomeness – suitable for many moods. A few of the tracks on the album are ones which have been publicly released previously, but are now remastered by a big name studio in NYC, and made to sound even more awesome, for your listening pleasure. All other tracks on the album are totally unheard before originals, which I think – and hope – you’ll enjoy. As an added bonus, I was very lucky to have exclusive remixes done by axisONE, Draconum and Alex Biagi (all from the Addictive Vibe Records crew) included on the album. (The axisONE remix of Sputnik was featured on the world-renowned Beta Nightclub‘s “Homegrown” compilation earlier this year – along with some heavy-hitting tracks from other talented producers).

The album is also inspired by many people, and I couldn’t have finished this project without the support of those around me, and those reaching out to me through the internets. I greatly appreciate all your input, feedback and criticism. All (100%) of the proceeds from this album will go toward improving my music software, and hardware upgrades. I know that pretty much anyone can find and download the album for free, and I won’t try to stop you from doing so, but please realize that making music is a time-consuming task and, no matter how much I love the process – and hate to have to admit this – it can be a somewhat expensive endeavor, as well. So, for those of you who pick up a copy of the album from iTunes, or any other online store… thank you for supporting my habit.

Last but definitely not least… enjoy the music!

Milestone: 1,000 Downloads – Deadmau5 – Brazil (Sonaris Club Rmx)

UPDATE 11/07/10:: The number of downloads of this remix skyrocketed to over 5,000!!! It has become – by far – my most downloaded project to date. I really cannot believe it! That people are really enjoying it is an incredible feeling. Thank you for all your support!

————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Two and a half awesome weeks later, my remix of Deadmau5′ “Brazil” – from his “Random Album Title” album – has hit the 1,000 downloads milestone on InternetDJ.com.

Deadmau5 - Brazil (Sonaris Club Rmx) - 1000 Downloads! This is only the second remix I’ve done which has hit the 1,000 downloads milestone, and… it’s a great feeling. Knowing that people are excited about something I’ve created, and feel compelled to add it to their music collection is what motivates me.

I’ve gotten a ton of great feedback on the project. A lot of people have shared it with their friends and anyone else who’ll listen. So, I want to thank you all for your support and for helping spread the word about my music projects. I greatly appreciate it!

Delay: Arreliari Album Release Postponed

Just got some unfortunate news. The launch date for my new album, “Arreliari” has been postponed by our distributor. I will post an update when a new concrete date for the release is set. Sorry to those who are looking forward to it, and thank you for your patience and support!

Remix! Deadmau5 – Brazil (Sonaris Club Rmx)

Finally put the finishing touches on my brand new remix of one of my favorite Deadmau5 tracks, “Brazil.”

At first I didn’t even want to touch the original, because I like it just fine as is, but then I noticed that there weren’t very many remixes of this track out there (maybe for the aforementioned reason) and so I figured I’d do it and let people hear a different side of this track. The idea was to take part of the melody, and more or less write a new track around it, but keep the chill vibe and atmosphere of the original. Before you ask, there are no samples from the original, in this remix, that’s how I roll.

As with the Daft Punk remix I did, I am a bit apprehensive – albeit curious – to post this, since I know Deadmau5 fans are pretty hardcore. But, chances must be taken, and without much further explanation, see the links below the image to listen and download:

It’s Official! New cover design for my upcoming album, “Arreliari”

After almost a year of preparation, editing, fixing and going back and forth, my new (and first) full length electronic [dance] music album is due out (via Addictive Vibe Records & Music Just Music) in the very near future. A final release date will be announced within a week or two, so stay tuned. The album will feature a couple of former crowd favorites, mastered and slightly re-edited, and some never-before-heard original tracks!

At the last moment, we collectively decided to change the album cover (both designs by David Baker, and I think it turned out quite well.

The official new design:
